Marketing Coordinator
Plymouth Meeting, PAUnder the direction of the Director of Marketing, manages the company’s social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) with a primary focus on LinkedIn and Instagram. Creates content and implements marketing strategies by analyzing engagement data, identifying consumer trends and sales.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Assists the Marketing Manager with the Social Media Editorial Calendar, providing a monthly plan for content aligned to brand guidelines, messaging, and product goals
- Researches, develops and publishes content for daily posts(LinkedIn,Instagram)
- Creates simple, clear, and easy-to-understand content adapting writing tone and style to fit different social platforms and audiences
- Collaborates with team members throughout the organization (Sales, Design, Project Management, Client Services) to develop relevant content for scheduled posts
- Manages brand reputation on social media pages including responding to direct messages, comments, and posts in a way that embodies our company values
- Analyzes and report on social media performance monthly, quarterly, and annually using provided tools and organic platform resources to drive and reflect brand growth goals
- Maintains a thorough knowledge and understanding of Officeworks brand, culture, products and services, clients and competitors in each market
- Stays abreast of social media developments and trends with a focus on LinkedIn and Instagram
- Applies attribution best practices to image usage rights, copywriting & social media posts to ensure legal compliance
- Prompt, reliable and regular attendance
Other Responsibilities:
- Assists the Marketing Manager with other marketing tasks as needed such as creating content for PowerPoint presentations, sales collateral, company website, email campaigns, blogs etc.
- Assists in maintaining marketing assets on company shared drive and Google intranet site
- Furthers knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices, and marketing ideas and tactics with the team
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years’ work experience focused on social media, marketing
- A proven track record of generating brand awareness through social media platforms
- Strong copywriting, proofing, photo and video editing skills
- A motivated, self-starter with a creative mindset
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Experience working within a collaborative and cross-functional team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Photoshop, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Google Analytics a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
