Account Coordinator

Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC

The Account Coordinator is responsible for assisting the sales team by providing the highest quality of service and support to our clients. Responsibilities include preparation of quotes and proposals, creation of pricing documents and processing orders.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist sales and senior coordinators with the preparation of quotes and proposals.
  • Create pricing documents as requested by sales for presentation to clients or designers.
  • Follow up on all pricing/product requests sent to manufacturers, reps and installers.
  • Record and save all pricing information and backup gathered during bid/quote process.
  • Place orders with manufacturer within 24 hours and confirm receipt within 3 days.
  • Review acknowledgments and all revisions, track and confirm COM shipments, check shipment status prior to and on confirmed manufacturer ship dates.
  • Track product shipment to warehouse and confirm receipt.
  • Provide timely and concise communication regarding project status to sales and senior coordinators.
  • Prepare and maintain status reports for clients, as needed.
  • Follow up on items regarding damages, replacements, short shipments and any open or unresolved customer issues.
  • Enter all receiving and delivery information for orders in Team Design.
  • Coordinate delivery and installation, including but not limited to, installation packets, schedules and punch list resolution on a day to day basis. Consult with senior coordinator for projects.
  • Assist sales, senior account coordinators, designers and project managers with the preparation of bids.
  • Complete CAL133 applications for BFD and check requests (Boston Only)
  • Run backlog reports as scheduled on bi-weekly basis and distribute to senior coordinators.
  • Prompt, reliable and regular attendance

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience in related customer service or sales support role.
  • Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
  • In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must work well in team environment

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
