Officeworks recently completed a new 8,000 square foot headquarters in Burlington, MA for Electric Supply Center (ESC), the leading electrical distributor in New England. With five Massachusetts locations, ESC has been selling electrical products to residential and commercial contractors, electricians, engineers, and architects since 1997.

ESC’s “DRIVEN TO HELP YOU COMPETE” commitment to its customers has resulted in tremendous growth for the company. With a need to double their office space, and a desire to refresh their well-known brand, ESC collaborated with Greenleaf Construction and Officeworks to renovate and furnish their Burlington headquarters. Their vision was to create an ESC-branded space with a clean, modern aesthetic that promoted employee wellness and a sense of community.

Completed in February of 2019, the new headquarters is a breath of fresh air for the company. Collaborative spaces and workstations with low panels and height-adjustable tables provide employees with healthier, flexible work options. A predominantly white color palette, with pops of ESC’s signature yellow and natural wood finishes, provides a crisp, modern look. The company’s “DRIVEN TO HELP YOU COMPETE” mantra and artwork with hard-charging images of “Determination”, “Drive”, “Tenacity” and “Focus” are displayed throughout the space—serving as touchstones to the company’s commitment and conveying a shared sense of pride.

ESC recently showed off its new headquarters at its annual meeting and employee grand opening and received rave reviews. The company is thrilled with their new space, noting that employees especially love using their new height-adjustable desks. The new, modern headquarters will surely keep ESC competitive in retaining and attracting new talent as they continue to grow.
